Phin is super fun pony who is looking for his next rider.  Phin is a typical Connemara who is versatile and willing to have a go at everything. He has a look at me presence and everyone falls in love with him. He tries hard to please, is a super athlete and is easy to handle. He has been out competing in showjumping competitions,horse trials, clinics, pony club and local shows. He is free moving but not strong and uncomplicated to ride. He would suit a capable child or small adult rider who wants to be competitive and have fun. He is easy to take to competitions, travels well, has no buck or bolt. He is very quiet to handle.  If he was a hand taller we would keep him but he is just not big enough for my grown up daughters. He is just the type of pony I would have loved for my kids when they were growing up. He has been competing at 70-90cm and recently placed 2nd in a 1m round against the big horses at a local show. Phin won a bronze medal 🥉 at the 2025 Pony Club Qld state titles. He recently competed in his first ODE and didn’t put a foot wrong. While my daughter has competed Phin, we have also had a 10 yr old friend ride him at home. She easily handled him and found him to be very responsive, both in jumping and on the flat. He really is a fun pony.
