Maggie - Honest, Fun, Competitive Showjumper 🌟

Maggie is a sweet, talented mare with a proven track record in showjumping and interschools. Ridden and handled by a 13-year-old girl, she recently took out Reserve Champion in Showjumping at the 2024 Berry Interschools, showcasing her scope, rhythm and honest jump. Always coming back to her rider, you can do a competitive jump round and walk out on the buckle.

Maggie has a beautiful rhythm and careful, honest jump, schooling confidently up to 1m and competing at 80cm. With a snaffle mouth, she goes in a soft, balanced frame. Maggie has taken part in a number of cross country days and maintains her steady rhythm whether out in the field jumping cross country or in and arena, making her a great all-rounder for interschools, or comps. She has attended pony camps and loves to get out on a trail ride. She has done some straight dressage at prelim level and performs well. Maggie is more woah than go.

Maggie has been a wonderful competition partner but, like many mares, she does have a few small quirks. These are easily managed with routine and calm handling, but for this reason, she will be best suited to a knowledgeable and confident home where her experience and talent can continue to shine.

On the ground she is easy to float, shoe, catch and travel. She’s settled at competitions and used to dogs, bikes, cows and kangaroos.

She’s a much-loved member of the team and only offered due to her riders time commitments. Would suit a confident junior or small adult wanting a fun, competitive and kind mare to enjoy and grow with.
