Perfect Interschool Gelding

Spirit is an eye catching 9 year old silver buckskin gelding standing at 16.3hh (unofficial). He is a Sports Clysdale x Paint and is an easy keeper. He has never been injured or required veterinary care outside of yearly vaccinations and dental.

He is predominately a dressage horse with 3 beautiful paces. He is currently competing at EA novice scoring mid-high 60’s and is training for elementary. When competing at Prelim level he scored low 70’s. His achievements of note include;

    ⁃     Australian Interschool champs 6th place in Prelim

⁃    Interschool QLD Secondary Senior Preliminary Champion

    ⁃     Scots PGC Preliminary Champion

    ⁃     Scots PGC CT 60cm Reserve champion

    ⁃     South East Queensland Preliminary Reserve Champion

    ⁃     South East Queensland 3rd place 60cm CT

    ⁃     Tamborine Reserve Champion in the Hunter Trials

This year he has consistently placed top 10 in EA championships.

He has jumped up to 90cm and has a lot of potential to go higher, just wasn’t in riders interest. He is a confident and willing horse and would be great at eventing.

Spirit has so much potential but due to rider frequently participating at national level hockey, he hasn’t had a lot of opportunity to compete in as many competitions as I would have liked.

He is super chill and willing. He has had frequent exposure to trial rides, swimming in dams bare back, traffic (motor bikes, trucks and diggers), has been led from the side of quad-bikes, great with animals (dogs, chickens, goats, cows and cats) and has attended Ag shows, he rarely shy’s and has his riders best interests at heart.  

Spirit would be perfect for a competitive and confident inter-school mount and I am confident that he would excel up the levels in a short time.

He is my one and only horse therefore paddocked alone, however he has been paddocked with multiple horses growing up. He does have horses over the fence he can see so would prefer to be sold with another companion but isn’t compulsory.

He is super easy to catch, shoe, float, tie up ect.
