Excaliburs pride aka Joey is a 13 year old, 16.2hh, Warmblood x thoroughbred gelding by Excalibur. Joey has 3 lovely floaty paces, walk to canter, flying changes and side passes established and has been ridden by a teenager (16-18) for the 3 years and has taken her from competing 70cm to 1.10cm. Catches you in the paddock, Joey is a safe and kind gelding to handle in every way, ride him up in a halter and lead, he’s a perfect gentleman to load, float and for the farrier. He’s been to the beach, camp drafted cows, trail rides along busy roads and countless shows and not much fazes him, no buck, bolt or rear. He has competed up to 110cm and training 130cm with his current owner and competed 120cm with his owner before that with great results, schooled 1*- 2* x-country and is super brave and bold. He’s is a big forwards moving horse when it comes to jumping so he does require a competent and confident rider to get out the best of him.
